Former Nazi campaigns for peace
A NAZI tank driver who renounced Hitler after the war has joined the Guildford peace movement to warn about the horrors of conflict.The former National Socialist, Henry Metelmann, 79, is adamantly opposed to the violence and destruction associated with war and freely talks about his own role during the Second World War.

Fired up to stop burner
A STOP Britain Burning lobby of Parliament in opposition to waste incineration was joined by Guildford campaigners last week. Experts, activists and politicians attended the meeting in the new Portcullis House in Westminster to voice opposition to the Government's energy from waste policy and the current rash of incinerator applications.
