Former Nazi campaigns for peace
A NAZI tank driver who renounced Hitler after the war has joined the Guildford peace movement to warn about the horrors of conflict. Fired up to stop burner
A STOP Britain Burning lobby of Parliament in opposition to waste incineration was joined by Guildford campaigners last week. Put bombing on hold says bishop
THE bombing of Afghanistan should be stopped during the Muslim fast Of Ramadan, which begins next week, says the Bishop of Guildford. The Rt Rev John Gladwin, who is chairman of Christian Aid, said he fully supported the military campaign against the
perpetrators of terror but warned that without a break in the war to ensure aid can get into the country millions of innocent people would suffer.
